Aisha Bashir

Cam Dairies creates wealth for pastoralists through a locally-sourced dairy industry in West Africa. They identify pastoralists with grazing rights, aggregate them, and then get them everything needed to create dairy products that consumers will pay for. Cam then helps get their products to market through quality control, transport, and payment systems - resulting in pastoralists earning good money.

Aisha worked on business strategy at Dangnote - one of Africa's biggest industrial conglomerates. She also did consulting for Mountain Hazelnuts (a fully integrated nut company in Bhutan that's in Mulago's portfolio) and developed the idea for Cam Dairies while getting her MBA at Stanford.
