3.9 billion people lack access to a doctor. The world is short 15M healthcare workers, most acutely felt in poor countries.
Barry is an MD; he teaches medicine and directs the Global Health program at the University of Vermont. He's spent more than 25 years in a dozen developing countries working in emergency medicine, global health, and humanitarian assistance. He saw again and again that poor people and their kids would fall sick or die from illnesses that were easy to diagnose, treat, and cure. He decided to solve the problem and founded ThinkMD to gain accurate data to power a diagnostic tool that any CHW can use to deliver better care everywhere.
