Bram has just begun his Rainer Fellowship. The Fellowship is a one-year program that focuses on design for impact and strategy for scale. It consists of an intensive week-long retreat, structured work over the year, and another week-long retreat at the end. We'll add more detail on Bram's solution towards the end of his year with us.
After starting his career in banking and agri-finance, with roles at UBS and ING Bank, Bram moved to Uganda to run a fintech company digitizing banks. Frustrated by the slow pace of change in traditional finance, he started Emata to get to a world where smallholder farmers have the credit and tools they need to grow more quickly. Originally from the Netherlands, he studied Finance and Investment at the Rotterdam School of Management, and earned his Masters from the University of St. Gallen. Bram has spent the last eight years in Uganda.
