Ira has just begun her Rainer Fellowship. The Fellowship is a one-year program that focuses on design for impact and strategy for scale. It consists of an intensive week-long retreat, structured work over the year, and another week-long retreat at the end. We'll add more detail on Ira's solution towards the end of his year with us.

About Ira

Ira grew up in southern India. While playing basketball across the country, she experienced firsthand the stigma and lack of access surrounding menstruation. After studying politics at Cambridge and public policy at Harvard, she designed and patented the Asan Cup—a reusable, affordable menstrual product. Her work combines design, dignity, and impact, while reducing waste.
