About Matt
Matt is trained in global health and epidemiology, and his work centers on understanding the ecology of poverty. He is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Prior to founding Pivot and teaching at Harvard, he lived and worked with Partners in Health in Rwanda for five years. Matt holds PhDs in both Economics and Infectious Disease Ecology from the University of Georgia.
