Dangerous roads are a major killer across the developing world. India has the most crash deaths and injuries worldwide—1.5M deaths and 5M injured people in the last decade—and the victims are disproportionately poor.
About Piyush
Piyush has put his extensive experience in the corporate, government, and social enterprise worlds to good use. Prior to establishing SaveLIFE, Piyush served as the Managing Director (India) of the Calibrated Group, a private equity firm. He has been recognized an Ashoka Fellow, an Echoing Green Fellow, a DRK Grantee, a Rolex Laureate, and one of GQ Magazine's 50 most influential people in India. Piyush earned a BA in IT from Delhi University and an MPA from Harvard.
