Youth unemployment is rising in India, and rural economies can't absorb young job seekers outside of farming. Despite rising higher education levels in India, millions of technical and vocational program graduates lack the basic soft skills required for well-paid, meaningful jobs.
About Chris
Prior to Medha, Chris was a director of business development at SKS Microfinance (they provide last mile financial services to thousands of villages across India). Chris launched SKS's Health Insurance and Urban Microfinance products as well as their mobile banking projects. Chris holds a joint MBA/MA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.
