Get Indian youth into rewarding careers.
Medha coaches students on career pathways and employability skills, helping them land better-paying jobs that they actually enjoy. Their curriculum builds both professional skills and personal agency, because envisioning a career can be much more powerful than simply trying to find a job.
All public vocational and technical schools incorporate career coaching and counseling into their curriculums, and build clear employment tracks for graduates.
Medha graduates earn more than 1.7x income than the status quo three years after the program (from $150 to $260 per month — a life-changing amount). Every Indian state has a public vocational education system, but most need a quality career services function. The solution can be delivered by trained facilitators and integrated into existing curriculum. They've doubled down on working through government, and have expanded government partnerships to four states so far.
