Mafisa provides animal health services and links herders to markets in return for regenerative grazing. The resulting soil carbon sequestration allows Mafisa to tap into carbon markets and drive sustained prosperity.

Why We're In
Initial impact on cattle mortality is promising. However, they still have a lot to prove, and we hope they get to a business model that isn’t dependent on carbon money—real scale will require a simpler model that other businesses can replicate.
