How It Works
They systematically adapt proven interventions, run rapid tests, and codify the best and simplest models for government delivery. In Botswana, they're scaling "Zones" (HIV prevention), "Teaching at the Right Level" (individualized learning), and "ConnectEd" (mobile-based tutoring). They partner with governments to embed programs into national systems, shifting from direct delivery to full government implementation.

Why We're In
Youth Impact is a masterclass in finding what works and teaching governments to do it. All three of their programs have strong evidence: Zones cuts risky sexual behavior by 50%; TaRL closes over half of learning gaps; and ConnectEd delivers a year of additional learning gains. They're not just scaling solutions; they're scaling a methodology for getting research off the shelf and into government systems.
