How It Works
The Bridges to Prosperity (B2P) approach gets the right bridge built in the right place in the right way. They created a set of efficient bridge designs along with sophisticated tools to determine where bridges would have the highest impact. Their procedural guides ensure that contractors build them correctly, and they've created innovative ways to get bridges financed.

Why We're In
B2P bridges connect 1.5M people with new access annually and they have rigorous evidence household income gains of more than 30%. B2P has now shifted almost entirely to supporting governments to build bridges rather than build themselves. They systematized their approach specifically for government delivery and are developing new ways to help governments finance and build effectively on their own. Rwanda, Uganda and Ethiopia have successfully launched their own programs with increasing government ownership and payment.
